The Problem
Independent hotels frequently run the front desk off a paper room rack, a separate reservations notebook, and a guest bill that's reconstructed by hand at checkout — so a receptionist can't say which rooms are actually ready for a walk-in without physically checking, a reservation due today can sit unclaimed because nothing flags it, and a guest's final bill is assembled at the last minute instead of building up automatically as charges happen.
What We Built
A hotel front desk works off one question all day, every day: which rooms are actually usable right now, and for who. This system puts every room's real status — vacant and clean, vacant and needs cleaning, occupied, reserved, or out of service — on one live board instead of a paper rack or a spreadsheet that's already out of date by the time someone reads it. Clicking a room opens exactly the right action for its state: a walk-in check-in form for a clean vacant room, a live itemized folio and check-out for an occupied one, a one-tap check-in for a room already blocked by a reservation, or a "mark clean" button for one housekeeping hasn't reset yet — so front desk staff are never guessing what a room needs.
