The Problem
Print and publishing shops often run proof approval over back-and-forth WhatsApp messages with no record of which version a client actually signed off on, quote prices from memory or a spreadsheet that's inconsistent between staff, and track paper and ink stock by eye until a job is halfway printed before someone notices the shop is out of the right stock.
What We Built
A print job doesn't move to the press until a proof is approved — and that one gate is where most print-shop software falls flat by treating it as a single checkbox instead of the back-and-forth it actually is. This system tracks it properly: uploading a proof sends a job to Awaiting Approval, approving it sends the job straight to Printing, and requesting changes sends it back to Design/Proofing for a new version — with the feedback that caused the revision staying attached to that version, not lost the moment someone opens the next one. Every job carries its real specification — paper stock, size, quantity, finishing — and a new job's price is calculated live from those exact choices instead of guessed.
